Overview
About Me
I'm Victoria, a 19 year old Student of Political Science at Frankfurt University. I'm generally curious about other cultures, love to travel and I've become a so called global citizen due to my exchange year that I spent in Brazil a few years ago.
Besides my Studies I'm working as a waitress in a café and also do other work here and there. Besides my love for traveling I'm doing martial Arts and generally I like to go out, do stuff and live a little. I'm a minimalist (not an extreme one tho) which basically means trying to not get caught up in material things and living /consuming consciously. (I'm vegan and I really enjoy cooking and the vegan lifestyle as well. 'm a Capoerista (a brazilian martial Art) and go to Capoeira once a week. Besides all that (which is a lot) I also have a social life which is mostly filled with coffee dates, nights out and whatever happens arround - I enjoy many things and have wide interests basically I'd describe myself as a
Lebemensch, which is German for someone who simply enjoys Life and just goes with the flow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm volunteering in a non Profit Organization called AFS which tries to connect cultures through organizing exchange programs all over the world. I went abroad to a few years ago and lived with a family for one year which opened their home to me without receiving anything in exchange besides the cultural exchange experience. Of Course I'm forever grateful for this experience and I'd love to give that back to people as much as I can. Staying with a local in any country is something both can only benefit from If done right and I'm using couch surfing as a tool to keep in touch with that whole aspect of my life. Also I'm traveling to South America this Summer and I'm really looking forward to meet interesting people to enrichen my travel experience
