About Me
Hey there!
I'm Robinliving and working in London. Unfortunately my room is smaller than a photobox, so hosting is not an option for me. Anyways I'm really happy to meet new people.
I studied international management and applied business languages (including Arabic) in Germany. I lived abroad in Paris and Cairo before. London is "abroad" No. 3 already.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, it's just that I think we should give everybody and take every opportunity to explore the world. So that's exactly why I thought I could create this account.
I like having people around me, who might inspire me and maybe we could have a wonderful time together :)
Interests
As you might assume, I just adore languages and cultural exchange, but I have more to offer :D
I like Picasso, Paris, London, PSG, Zara, second hand shops, kazoo kid, atlases, language trees, documentaries, keeping the window open during a summer night, summer rain, everything about summer (but bees)...
I hate washing the dishes, that flowers need water, wind from the front because it prevents me from breathing..

Music, Movies, and Books
Beyonce, the little mermaid, a thousand splendid suns, FKA Twigs, Pocahontas, 1984, The Weeknd, another disney movie, Khalil Gibran's Masterpieces, Maitre Gims, The Uninvited, Kalila wa Dimna, Black M, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, Bones...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The very most extraordinary thing that I did, was probably when I planned to go to Israel/Palestine taking a bus from Cairo to Dahab (Sinai Peninsula) then a Taxi with a stoned driver to Taba to finally cross the Egyptian/Israeli/Palestinian border there. Got checked a million times, had to stripp naked in front of handsome people until I finally made it. I did it, even though everybody advised me not to do so. - sometimes you just need to listen to yourself and just go for it!
First time (2016) travelling just on my own: cities-trip in Italy: 8 days - 8 different places! Kinda stressful but with the most different impressions during a week!
Another great journey was 10 days with 1000 nuances of Morocco - went to Agadir اگادير, Casablanca الدار البيضاء and Marrakesh مراكش ❤
Teach, Learn, Share
If you've ever been interested in the arabic writing system, I could at least make you remember how your name is written in arabic letters.
If you want to practice your German, English, French, Arabic or Spanish skills, I'd be there to talk to you guys. Even though my Spanish has become a little rusty ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could maybe cook a German or French meal
