Overview
About Me
Energetic and people-driven young professional with experience in education-based nonprofits. Flexible leader dedicated to social justice advocacy and working with under-privileged youth. Currently working full time as a personal care assistant for a student with autism while also earning my degree.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find significance in traveling so I can make connections, gain perspective, and experience life outside of me.
Interests
Studying and working within social work I am constantly striving to find what self-care looks like for me and realize how difficult it can be to help others if I can't help myself. So in efforts to practice self-care I like to dance, be outdoors, play with my dog arrow, and stretch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would like to take some pride in making the decision that instead of going to college right after high school, I joined an organization called City Year. For two years I worked alongside inner-city students in under supported schools serving as a mentor/coach. I made lifelong connections and can confidently say I developed personally and professionally. Doing this also instilled and enhanced values of service and education within me.
