Visual art is my greatest passion: Film, video art, paintings, contemporary. ETC.
I like seeing art and making art. I study film (Just finished my freshmen year).
I want to visit europe basically for 2 reasons: to relax from the stresses of the previous year and also to because I'm thinking of moving to Europe in the future. So I want to see how it feels. That's also why I prefer couchsurfing with locals.
But please don't think I'm just a boring art snob I also come to enjoy myself and have fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now just to stay in other people's couches but not host yet. I can't host yet since I still live with my parents :/ I'm planning to leave around Jan 2017, but in general Israeli rent prices are crazy. But if I will live alone or with roommates who also want to lend a couch I will definitely be hosting.

I want to see the world with couchsurfing because I think you get a bit disconnected from the actual place you're staying if you're in some hotel/hostel (not that I can afford a decent hotel :P). I think that staying with locals is more interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not a huge book reader but I did like 1984, Lolita, The Dice Man, Norwegian Woods by Haroki Murakami, Recently read The Incal by Moebius and Jodorowsky (Moebius!!!), Steppenwolf and Siddharta.

Also I read A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle when I was 17 and was greatly influenced by it.

Music: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Radiohead, Alt-J, Tame Impala, Stevie Wonder, Die Antwoord, Massive Attack, Portishead, David Bowie, Nicola Jaar, Chet Faker, Air, Devendra Banhart, Arcade Fire's Reflektor (I didn't like earlier stuff as much), Mr. Bungle, Son Lux, Pepe deluxe, Arctic Monkeys, Janelle Monae, and many more which I can't think of right now.

Movies: The Matrix, Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Truman Show, Children of Men, The Exorcist, Spiderman 1 & 2 (NOT The Amazing...), Lord of the Rings, A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Serious Man, Cria Cuervos, Songs From the Second Floor, Import Export, The Idiots, Benny's Video, Caché, 8 and a Half.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could draw you something, I could share with you some knowledge about art and about film, and give you some tips from my experience, though I am young and just starting out.
