About Me

I am spontaneous. I like when my life isn't arranged. I like when every day has something new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people from different countries, with different ways of life. They teach me, that with everything, there is more than one opinion, more than one point of view. They teach me, that the world is not only black and white but full of different colors and that's beautiful.

Interests

Through my life, I had many interests. For a long time, I was in boy scouts, at first as a child, then as a guide. I was also LARPing. I learned to play guitar, archery, and other stuff. I love making things with my hand, so I built a workshop when I was in high school. I have done some metalworking and woodworking projects there, even built a nice bandsaw from plans by Mathias Wandel.
I love knowledge, I like when I know how things work, I'm curious about everything.
So I went to university to learn chemical engineering. But through the years I found this narrow field is not enough for me, I also like geography, physics, history, civil engineering and much more.
In the middle of my university studies, I found that I would like to travel and see the world, speak with people, experience. I always read and heard about the great adventures of great people and I realized that it is just your own decision, that sends you to those journeys. Everything else are just excuses. Don't have money? Travel by hitching, sleep under the stars or in the tent. Afraid of dangerous places? Just forget the danger. Nice people are everywhere and you can be hit by car at home. Don't know languages? You will learn.
So summer 2015 I spent hitchhiking mostly in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and Romania.
In summer 2016, I first planned to hitchhike to the Caucasus mountains. But there, I decided to continue so after 3 months, I ended up in Hiroshima, Japan.
I spent the next year in Europe, but I made a decision, that after my studies, I'll pack my bag, throw a tumb out at the road from my hometown and see where the road will take me.
Update autumn 2018: Another great journey, another experiences and another people met. Hitchhiking the silk road. Values and plans are changing, personality stays forewer. Happiness only real when shared
