We are 4 french students : Matthieu, Titouan, Yoni and Carolyne living in Toulouse, south of France. We want to discover Europe this summer, backpacking from Toulouse to Milan, stopping in Amsterdam and Prague.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love that way to travel and meeting people , we love to share with persons who wants to share too. Sleeping in motels, or camping just together is not our vision of « discovering a country ». Indeed, we really think that a country is definite by it inhabitants so we want to meet them and couchsurfing is a solution to this !

Interests

Music +++++ We are going to do 2 festivals during our trip, Matthieu creates his own electronic music and play bass.
Matthieu loves to make music, with his familiy, his friends or alone.
Yoni and Matthieu are studying electronics and industrial computing.
Titouan is studying in business school
Carolyne is studying medicine and loves taking pictures.
We all love travelling, discovering new landscape, way of living and philosophy of life.
We play kendama and we can learn you how to play it (you will never stop training then) !!

Music, Movies, and Books

We are great fan of electronic music : dnb, hardcore, frenchcore, dubstep but also some kind of music more classical as rap or rock.
The Matthieu’s father educated him with Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Boston, Dream Theater, Europe, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Metallica, Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, Pixies, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles etc.
Matthieu is not a great reader but he still love reading The Martian Chronicles, 1984 or Brave New World.
Carolyne loves reading too from Game of thrones to Hubert Selby.
We are all great fan of movies in all movie style :
Yoni's favorite movie : Fight Club

Matthieu's favorite movie : Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Mr. Nobody, 2001 : A Space Odyssey (I can’t choose sorry…)
Carolyne's favorite movie : The place beyond the pines and Requiem for a dream
We also love series (who doesn't??) and probably has seen the most famous from GOT to The Walking Dead passing by Mister Robot, True Detective and Shameless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Matthieu : I travelled a part of the Sahara desert on a camel (and I slept there !)
Titouan : A four weeks travel through India and Nepal, really cool !
Yoni : Travel to the Sahara desert in 4x4 and saw camels
Carolyne : Sleeping in a bungalow in Louisiana Bayou seiing crocodile from the terrace and canoeing in this same bayou (so scary), assist to a real WWE wrestling show in Houston and a rodeo show in a ranch in the south of Texas.
Beiing in Time Square during Sandy's Hurricane and in Florida during Wilma Hurricane (so lucky..)

Teach, Learn, Share

We can learn you to make kendama, make you discover electronic music if you don't know it. You will probably learn us to cook but we are really volunteers in all we do !
