My name is Hermann van Heerden. I am a Primary school teacher, teaching Gr 4 in South Africa. I have been paralized from the waist down since birth. I am using a wheelchair to move around. A few years ago I had to make the difficult dicision to amputate both my legs for the better of my health.

I love to travel and meet new people and experiencing new things. And as I am a teacher I don't have that big a salary to enable me to travel. I would also like to meet new people around the world.

Intereses

As I live in South Africa I love nature. Thus I love to take unique pictures of the nature around us. That is also one of the reasons I want to travel. So thet I could see the beauty of nature in other places.

As a person in a wheelchair I don't let that fact get me down. I have gone skydiving, paragliding, Bungee jumping and many more.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I have 1 sleeper couch and 1 stretcher, so in other words space for 2 people. The town is small enough to move around by foot, but I am sometimes available to transport you. We will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom as I sleep in the next room. If I welcome people at my place I would like to also spend some time with them and show them around town.
