Overview
About Me
I'm a 19-year-old regular guy who wants to meet new people and to get to know the world to get a better insight in what other cultures and countries are like. I already received a good enough education to get along well with my life, but I think that there's much more out there to be discovered than what I've experienced yet.
Concerning my character, I'm often not too chatty when I get to meet new people, but if I realise that I like them, I open up rather quickly. You'd probably call me an introvert, although I'd rather consider myself as "catious".
I also happen to plan a lot, so if there's anything that needs to be done, I can develop plans and stretegies to deal with it. I'm a lot about trust and reliability, honesty and clarity. I don't want bad vibes between people, so I either avoid them or I tell them early that I'm not fine with something they did/said to not cause more unease/harm/anger than necessary. I expect this kind of behaviour from possible hosts/guests, too.
I have set my priorities, because I am of the opinion that it's important to know, what I want to do with my life (not only in my job but also with regards to shaping my leisure time, hobbies etc.).
In my leisure time, I do fitness and I go swimming. However, my passion is dancing (standard and latin american dances) which I've been practicing for four years now. Moreover, I sometimes go for the occasional ride on my bike to just think and I like to take pictures from time to time. I also happen to play Pool a lot as I've got a Pool table in the attic of my parents house. Not to be forgotten, I like to meet my friends and hang out e.g. on the beach or at somebody's place to chat and have some fun.
There is more than that, for example. I like to go canoeing in summer, I read books (mostly about political topics, but also fantasy etc.) and I help out in my grandparents' garden, but these are all activities that I don't execute regularly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I've already written above, I like to get a better insight in what other people, countries and cultures are like, so I signed in on Couchsurfing to get the opportunity to meet up with locals and sleep at their places but in return also letting travellers sleep at my place to foster a better intercultural understanding.

When you sleep at my place in order to get to know Hamburg, I'm sure I can always help you plan your trips and give you hints on what is a must-see here. If I find the time, I'd also be happy to show them to you :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kings of music, be it charts, rap, hip-hop, hardstyle, reggae/dancehall, Nu Metal (especially Linkin Park) or old songs that once were popular. Currently I listen a lot to Ed Sheeran (Album X), OneRepublic (Native) and 257ers (only the song Holland).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I visited 2016's Hamburg Harbour Birthday, a great three-day-experience with incredibly good weather, especially for Hamburg relations :D
Teach, Learn, Share
If you'd like to come to my place, I'd be happy to teach you how to dance or how to play Pool, if you're not that good at it :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Currently, I can't share anything as I live at my parents house and we have all kinds of complications that would make hosting someone not exactly comfortable (especially for the guest). Plus, I'm going to New Zealand in about 4 weeks to get a Work and Travel experience, so that I'm not in my country of residence anyway.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Denmark, France, Italy
Countries I’ve Lived In
Germany
