Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Thao and I am from Las Vegas, Nevada! I am a chill, happy-go-lucky student nurse who has occasional super spikes of enthusiasm. I have a real passion for people and this beautiful planet we share.

Enjoy good humor, good food (preferably with good company). Travel, be kind, do good, learn, grow, laugh a lot, and dance randomly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I love music and usually listen to 90s, rap, hip hop, alternative, and indie rock! I regularly listen to random playlists on Spotify (my favorite thing besides food). My ultimate favorite band is The Beatles. I have an incredibly vast (and probably useless) knowledge of Beatles history.
MOVIES & TV
My favorite genre is war related action/drama because of the stories of camaraderie: Saving Private Ryan, Letters From Iwa Jima, Taegukgi (Brotherhood of War), Das Boot, The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty, Lone Survivor
Shawshank Redemption, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Argo, Studio Ghibli, Disney Pixar and Classics, Forest Gump, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Wes Anderson, OITNB, Stranger Things, Anthony Bourdain, Bobs Burgers, Harry Potter
BOOKS
Harry Potter series, crime thriller books, comedy books, biographies, but to be honest, I’m constantly reading medical textbooks in uni so lately it’s hard for me to be motivated to read for leisure. I love to read though, and would love suggestions!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked about 500 miles on the Camino de Santiago (from the Pyrenees to the west coast of Spain). Even though I was traveling alone and was constantly challenged everyday, I never felt lonely and was always surrounded by amazing people!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always happy to teach, learn, and share anything! Whether it is about music, art, podcasts, travel, or food.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good vibes, laughs, and talks about life and culture! Maybe over some good food and beer too :)
