About Me

I´m a 24 years old Chemistry student, who loves learning, music, eating , travelling, dancing, listening to other people's life, walking at night, having deep talks bout what life means for people and hanging out with new people.
I adore making people laugh, it's trough someone's laughing that you can really get to know that person, that's why I always try to make people round me laugh, I have a very black sense of humor :D

I haven't surfed yet, in July will be the first time ever that I travel to Europe, but I have travelled my hole life trough Mexico, so I can tell you some amazing stories about all the incredible places here! :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because when you visit a city you must live it!
I think that staying with someone who lives in the place you are visiting is the best way to actually discovering how the place really is, enjoying it as a local, live like a local, hanging out with locals!
And because I love sharing with people from other countries, hearing how their lives are and tasting new food cause I love cooking!

Music, Movies, and Books

I couldn´t choose a favorite kind of music, I grew up in a neo-hippie family listening to psychedelic and classic rock, classical music, jazz... when I was a teen I discovered metal and I fell in love with it, but I grew up in a latin country so obviously I love latin music aaand I love being mexican so... I also enjoy a lot traditional folk mexican music.
My favorite bands are:
Led-Zeppelin,
Black Sabbath
Jorge Negrete
The magic numbers
The National
Iron Maiden
Willie Colón

Just like music I couldn´t have just one favorite movie, but my top movies would be:
Orgullo de Mujer (An old mexican movie from 1956, I just adore old mexican movies)
The road to El dorado
Persepolis
The fiddler on the roof, The devil wears prada
10 things I hate about you,
Amelie
El discreto encanto de la burguesía (from Luis Buñuel)

Books: I´m quite nerdy so I mainly read scientific book or nerdy stuff, if not I love reading history books, mainly mexican History. I would say that my favorite writters and books.

Ernest Hemingway he is just perfect! yoy actually feel like you get into the book and can feel what he writes, Jose Elimio Pacheco, my favorite book from him so far is "Green hills of Africa"
Fernando del Paso: his book "Noticias del Imperio" is defineitely one of my most beloved books ever!
Tolkien: I´m a nerd so obviously I LOVE! LOTR

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once while driving in a highway in México I saw the sun rising up at the right side but at the left side was still dark, so technically I saw day and night at the same time.
Swiming in a cenote.
Riding an elephant.
Seeing whales and touching a starfish in Puerto Vallarta.
Drinking Tequila in Tequila.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to cook mexican food,
I love dancing salsa! so have for sure that If I ever host you or you ever host me I´ll teach you how to dance! and
I´ll take you out dancing or I´ll ask you to take me to a club to dance!, if not I can sing a song for you or share music, be for sure that I'll ask for some folk music from your country!
Interesting chats about science, life, travelling
Long walks at 2 am.
