About Me
I am an adventure travel guide in Chile .. Currently i traveling around Vancouver Island and its surroundings ..
Hmmm i consider myself a very happy and proactive woman. I really enjoy the live...
I like outdoor sports and adventure.. the art to, in special the crafting.. i love kayak, rollers, mountain bike, and plays in general..
...I've traveled in New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Rapa Nui and All Chile. I usually travel alone, and in my previous trips I did not know very well what couchsurfin was, I recently started using the platform for my adventures, and it has changed my travel experience!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of traveling very much, especially without the need of a lot of money. At the same time, the idea of meeting people (locals) and exchange experiences and spend time in a new culture is exactly what I am looking for.
I have the feeling that Couchsurfing is a tremendous oportunity to see a new place and learn about if from a dealer angler. Totally different from the tourist´s perspective. Staying at hostel or hotels are very limited way to see and learn about new places, besides, they are costly.
What a better way to experince and learn about a new place and new people, than staying with them in their own homes...
Interests
I love roller blading, Mountainbiking and Kayaking as my favorite sports. I have a passion for painting and drawing and doing arts in general. I enjoy music. My father is from Argentina so I like Chilean music and also music from his country, both, old and new.
I payed volleyball in school a lot, not so much today but I love it. I started to develop now a passion for motorcycle traveling. Not better than biking just that

Music, Movies, and Books
Uhmmm, I don´t think I can say I like one type of music. I can say I LIKE MUSIC. In Chile I listen from old American music (johny Cash) to Rhiana. And I love Chilean and Argentinean folklore. I also love what we call "Rock Latino". My father loves it and I stared listening to it with him.
Other singers I listen very often: Cat Stevens, Eddie Vedder, Illapu, Fito Paez, Aretha Franklin, Phil Collins, Bacilos, Calle 13, Los Fabulosos Cadilac, Andres calamaro, Inti illimani, Johony Cash, Peter Gabriel, Neil Diamond, Jason Mraz, Los Abuelos De La Nada, Etc , Etc
The same applies to book and movies, though I have to say that I can't see horror movies, especially about "zombies"...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I believe that one of the most amazing things I have done lately is a kayak trip with my job was from the Andes to the Pacific following rivers lakes for 6 days. Just a small group of people lost in the wilderness in Patagonia. Just breathtaking...
Another great experience with traveling was a motorcycle trip through the dessert in the north of Chile. Just the opposite landscape and lifestyle that I saw in Patagonia, and of course totally different people.
Teach, Learn, Share
My idea is, while staying somewhere with local people, to help with as much as I can. Teach Spanish if people want me to, help with cooking. I also like the idea to be open to learn anything people want to teach, tell me or show that could help me understand more of the culture.
Obviously, one of the things I am interested in is practicing and learning more English. I got a lot of help writing all this.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Definitely, I would love to be as helpful with my hosts as possible. In good English I am a kind of a "Jack of All Trades". And if there is something I don´t know how to do, I simply google it or try to figure it out myself... but never give up...
By the way, i also have a driving license, and i have a lot of experience driving 4x4 with trailers....
