I'm a government worker, with a sound career within this area for more than 11yrs.
This career has given me various opportunities to experience the best and the worst of this world, this gives me a real respect for how lucky I am to live in Australia. But it has also given me the drive to travel and inspired an interest in helping the less fortunate where possible .
I come from quite a large family but am largely independent which is a bi-product of work requirements.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I began this in an attempt to have a more personal look into countries and communities which I travel to overseas.
Also and more importantly is to make new friends and to experience new amazing things all over the world.

Interests

I'm interested in sports, outdoor activities, history and the stories that come with it. I'm interested in foods, cultures and unusual/new experiences.
I enjoy socialising and exploring new places with new people and making new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music generally speaking I stick to popular music, or chilled out sessions.
Movies I'm interested in action, comedy and thrillers mostly. Generally they will be Hollywood type movies but I'm open to foreign films too.
Books I read are mostly military/war history, I find them confronting and inspiring at the same time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the privilege of working in challenging environments under duress through work and seeing and helping vulnerable people through tough period of instability.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think much of the small things I could teach, are part of an experience together not necessarily a known before you meet.
Learning and sharing will be based on the interests of each of individual but I'll offer what I know of my area and share my passion for the local attractions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share everything contained within my apartment. I can share friends to create bonds and long term contacts within the local region.
I can help maintain any of your fitness goals as I conduct PT regularly and can give instruction.
