Overview
About Me
I am a native French speaker from Belgium, beside French, I can communicate in English, Arabic,Dutch and Chinese. I have lived in Guangzhou (China) for 3 years and half (2014 -2017) where I have studied mandarin and worked in Trading Business. After 2 years off in Belgium, I decided in April 2019 it was time to return to China with some fresh ideas.
In the last years, I had the opportunity to travel as a backpacker in Australia for a year and south East Asia for 6 months with just a backpack and without any smartphone. I started my Asia trip from Indonesia, passing by Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia most of the time hosted by the locals.
Despite the fact that I move less these last few years, I am still passionate by travel experiences and learning languages.
I had the opportunity to use the couch-surfing experience, it is a great way to get in touch with the locals and to see the area we want to visit from a different angle.
If you are surprised to see that I don’t have any references despite the fact that I have been on the app for so long, well I can ease your worries: I did use the CS website few years ago when I was traveling across south East Asia. The account I used to have is connected to an email address that is no longer in use, therefore I created this CS account without really having used it.
Please find below the link of my previous account, so you can have an idea of my profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/belgian1985/references?type=host
