Overview
About Me
Open and friendly human being. I absolutely love to discover new things from people who like sharing.
I'm currently not working because of a disability, however I will soon begin a year training to become a potter.
Sharing and caring, being benevolent and kind is really important to me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Basically, I love travelling and meet new people from everywhere/anywhere!
And what a great way to do so.
I like the philosophy behind CouchSurfing and had the chance to experience it once just before Covid. I hope to do it again soon.
I think that sharing experiences with people is much greater without money involve in the relationship.
However, it's important to me that people don't think of couchsurfing as (only) a free roof. It is, of course, but I really wish that I can give as much as my host gives me.
Unfortunately I'm not able to welcome guests for now, but as soon as I got my own place it will be a pleasure to share it with you, traveller :D
My experience on CouchSurfing:
Hosted by Laeticia in Bruxelles, Belgium (3 nights, February 2020)

Hard to put in a few words all the things you love or that make you as a person.
Well, equal rights for EVERY human being is an important cause for me. Therefore, I'm interested in feminism, LGBTQ+ rights, gender equality, human rights...
Observing stars for hours lying in the grass. Sharing a good meal. Discussing all sort of subject even if we disagree. Learning how to knit with my grandma. Sharing a good rock gig with my fan of a father. Singing in duo with my sis and learning piano with her. Pottery making.
So much more...

Music, Movies, and Books
What kind of impossible choice is this !
Well, if I had to choose a "favorite music" I'd probably say blues (Janis Joplin is and always will be a soul whisperer to me) and all kind of rock really : Led Zep, Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy, ZZ Top, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, The Who, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Joe Cocker (put infinity sign here)...
I also love more recent stuff and more old stuff.
As for the bOoKs, I read a lot of feminist/queer/political/humanist stuff!
Films are quite the same as music : impossible to choose or be comprehensive! I love indie movies, Wes Anderson, Coen brothers, 'Back To The Future' Trilogy...
I'm a massive fan of cartoons!! (and don't you dare say it's just for children please)
Series are also nice : huge fan of Doctor Who. Love Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Broadchurch, Breaking Bad, Twin Peaks...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen whales three times in my life in three different places (Canada, Maldives, Norway) and that was THE experience each time. I don't know what it is with those mammals but I got goosebumps each time I have the privilege to meet them.
Teach, Learn, Share
Anything would be interesting to learn and share really - different languages, music, food, tastes, stories, a meal, a laugh...
I knit quite well too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Giving as much as you give me is important to me. Of course, I'm human so not perfect at all, but I really wish to share all I can.
For instance, I could do the cooking, the washing, clean-up, feed and cuddle your pets, water the plants, chat along all night around a cup of tea (just kidding. Well, not for the tea. Although I'm more of a mug person.), help you in wathever way I can in the house!
