Overview
About Me
I'm a creative soul who dabbles in painting, songwriting, singing, photography, baking, poetry, gardening, travelling and loves trying new things, seeing new places and learning about other cultures. I teach English which gives me the opportunity to share my culture with my students. I have two children who are my miracles and my husband's son whom I adore!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm trying out Couchsurfing because when I go somewhere, I don't want to just be a tourist, I want to belong to a bigger family of adventurers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't count all the things/places I've seen or done. I've harvested my own coffee in Kenya, roasting the beans and enjoying a cup of coffee with completely new eyes! I worked on our family farm, enjoying the fruits of an honest day's labour. I've walked around Bali Indonesia and photographed the terraced rice fields. I've sung my own songs at churches and conferences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My family lives in a lovely little village 10 minutes by bus to the train station and a 15 minute bus ride to the city center. We have a sleeper sofa in our livingroom with a grand piano or a 76m2 guest house when available. It's an old farm and the houses are from 1897 as far as we know. There is a garden, lots of fruit trees, a trampoline and swingset for kids. We hope that after moving to this village we can still do couchsurfing as we were very active when we lived next to the train station. Anyway, you are welcome!!
