Hi everyone, I’m Mehmet Ali and I’m 28 years old. I am originally from Istanbul but currently living in Heilbronn because of my studies.

I really enjoy travelling, meeting new people and getting to know new cultures. When I am not travelling, you can find me by the beach, swimming, sailing, canoeing or doing SUP. If it’s winter, I will be up in the mountains enjoying fresh snow ❄️ If I am in the city, I usually try new cafes, see latest exhibitions or just enjoy my already favourite spots!

By the way, the reason I do not accept guests, is that I am legally forbidden from hosting anyone, including my family, in my room by my landlord. I would want to host people if I could!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To expand my horizon and my boundaries by meeting new people and doing things out of my comfort zone. Also have the chance to see the place I am visiting from a local person’s POV

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking to the top of the mountain, where Moses got the ten commandments. Had an otherworldly experience with walking under the starry sky for 3,5 hours until reaching the top of the mountain for sunrise and then going down again while actually seeing how majestic the view is ❤️
