Overview
About Me
Hello my name is Felipe, i'm a sociology student at the University of Valparaíso. I live in Quilpué, a small city near Valparaiso (40 minutes). I love my city because it is quiet and is close to two beautiful cities like Viña del Mar and Valparaiso and I also think it's the perfect combination of green areas and urban spirit. I like to walk through the hills of my city and to go camping with my family and friends. I also like visiting the beach in Viña del Mar or walk through the hills of Valparaiso. I like hanging out with my friends and have a good time.
From August 2016 to February 2017 I will be living in Catalonia, Spain, because I am doing an exchange at the University of Lleida.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the common good is more important than the individual, as long as this guarantees the rights of each person, I believe that any society that is organized collectively can achieve great changes for the good of all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just got to know this platform through a friend who has used it a lot. I will live in Spain for six months on university exchange and in this occasion I want to visit several countries in Europe.
Interests
I like football (soccer) and hiking in the hills. A good book always makes the afternoon better. I like to help other people, and I am a Christian inspired by critical pedagogy of Paulo Freire. I belong to a community organization where we help others and I teach history to children.
