My name is Sydney Beals; I love new adventures and am willing to get my feet wet in a little bit of everything. In the past, I've explored rainforests and snorkeled in many different Caribbean islands, gone surfing in Hawaii, snowboarded and hiked in Colorado and Idaho, and swam with dolphins in Cozumel. I'm a huge foodie, so if you can suggest some local restaurants, you will probably be my new best friend. When I travel, I would rather see the local side of the country than the tourist attractions.

I just graduated from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry (call it biochemistry for simplicity). Throughout college, I bartended (in case you need some drink suggestions) and played basketball (in case you want a challenge).

Music: literally anything that isn't by Drake (partial to the Killers, Mariana's Trench, Arctic Monkeys, Anberlin, Rise Against, the Chainsmokers, and Sara Bareilles)

Books: I'm a huge bookie! Game of Thrones is probably my favorite series ever, but I also like The Eternal Ones, My Name is Memory, The Maze Runner series, anything by John Green, and a lot more!

Movies: All the Marvel/DC movies are great, the Harry Potter series, Inception, the Revenant, Fury, but I'll watch pretty much anything. I'm a firm believer that you never outgrow the Disney movies you watched as a kid.

I'm a bartender who has worked at a number of different bars including high-end martini bars and janky little small town bars, so if you like getting drunk, I can show you the world. I like to think I'm a pretty handy cook too, so I can probably teach you a thing or two if interested! I'm especially fond of baking!
