Hi, I am Iva!

27 yo. I work as a journalist in Prague. I was born in little village in Beskydy mountains on eastern part of Czech republic. Nature is my passion.

Traveling means a lot for me. It gives me a freedom from daily life. Staying with the locals is usually very funny!
I see myself as a friendly, talkative (sometimes maybe over too much) person.

Currently in Czech republic enjoying the summer and preparing for new adventures!

I was on Erasmus in Finland, Helsinki. I have been dreaming about Finland since I was 10 or something (ice hockey, nature, sauna, lifestyle, uhm)
I loved to visit all Scandi countries, very interested in this part of Europe :)

6/2018 - 9/2018

I was in US on Work and travel program for students. Worked as a lifeguard in New Jersey area til 9/3 and then I traveled the East Coast. What to say about America.. Go there and you will see :) 100 people have 100 different tastes.

7/2017 - 9/2017

In Summer 2017 I travelled to southwestern Europe for 2 months and it was the biggest freedom I've ever had. I went with my 3 close friends to explore Europe by non-touristy way just out of our comfort zone. We were sleeping on the beaches, in the tent, everywhere it was possible! It gave me a lot of experiences. Yes, I definitely prefer lowcost traveling by hitchhiking, sleeping in the nature. We met a lot of locals from countries we traveled and also shared the stories with them!

Travelled SW Europe almost without money. 2 months sleeping at the beaches, parks everywhere. I've made it just with friends by my side.
