Overview
About Me
I'm a Singaporean who is studying political science in the National University of Singapore. I've caught the travel bug during my student exchange stint in Paris and have been very interested in exploring the world since! I don't believe in a "list of things" to do when one travels, but to simply get lost and just follow one's heart. Besides travelling, I love dancing (esp ballroom!) and baking (though somehow I kept burning my cakes and cookies). Love the great outdoors and nature, especially canyons and forests. Sun, laughter and a good book are my favourite things in life :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After travelling in Southeast Asia, East Asia and Europe, I've realised that there are much more to be discovered in this vast and interesting world. I think the most beautiful part of exploring new countries is to meet the locals, as one's perspectives are shaped by her unique life experiences. There's no better way than a home stay to truly immerse oneself in the rich culture and understand the way of life in the country :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Bangalore with a group of friends over the summer to teach English, Math, Science and Social Science to the local students at Dream School Foundation. It was a humbling and eye-opening experience as it was the kids who have taught us unforgettable life lessons.
