About Me
Check out our music at http://soundcloud.com/coffeetwogo
Coffee2Go is an international trio that "happened" when the parisian, singer and drummer Martin Seigneur, the canadian violinist Ariel Perez and the brazilian guitarist Ravi Resck met each other in a musical adventure that took place in Morocco. The trio started its musical research with standards and compositions of Swing, but it still promises a fusion between many styles and rhythms around the world. After exploiting the south atlantic coast of Morocco, they begin a new journey in Europe during the summer of 2016.
The trio purposes a trip to the street music performance with virtuosism and a little bit of a gypsy circus taste on its arrangements.
Each one of the members of this trio have a life that could generate a whole book.
Martin is a songwriter, drummer and singer, born in Paris, France. Now he is on the age of 35, living between Paris and Morocco, developing his own project with the songs that he wrote by himself. He has been travelling, composing and working with the most variated kinds of people all of his life. You can check his personal project on https://soundcloud.com/martin-seigneur
Ariel is a 26 years old violinist from Canada, that also shares French and a little bit of moroccan ascendence. He started studying the violin when he was only 4 years old. He plays anything, and it has the traditional sweet violinist personality. Besides that he is also a certified sailor, and is planning to cross the atlantic as a volunteer or as a musician on a sailing boat.
Ravi is a 23 years old brazilian guitarist. He also started studying the guitar very soon, when he was 8 years old. Full of influences from brazil, he mastered the language of samba, forro, choro, bossa nova and other brazilian rhythms. Along with the music, thanks to his parents, he also practices Hatha Yoga since he was 8 as well as Permaculture practices and vegetarianism. He is an active character in projects related to reforestation, waste management, clean energy generation, urban farming, etc.
You can also listen to his own personal project on http://dravisresck.wix.com/ravi-resck
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We came to couch surfing to find people who would like to share experiences with 3 musicians travelling the world. We arrive in Italy this summer and god knows where we are going to stop.
At first we didn't thought that this could work, because we never heard about it. But after a while the obvious conclusion came to ourselves: if we don't try, we will never know.
The first challenge is that we have no references in our profile, and as we are a new band, there isn't so many people who know about us. So we need to connect with people from couch surfing to make this happen, and we will try to do that by going to CS meetings and stuff like that.
Interests
When we talk about our interests we try to generalize the things that we have interest as a group.
But... as we are 3 persons, this can never end.
Basically, we all agree that we love
