Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It looks like a fun, $ saving and adventurous way to see new places. I'm on a motorcycle a lot and would be nice to ship things needed (to a trusted place) for backpacking or hiking?
I love the thought of staying somewhere and helping someone fix something (paint, fence, garden, build, landscape ext.) for allowing me to pitch a tent in a yard, field or stay on a couch and to take a shower. The thought of it feels like a medieval traveler or a cowboy on his trusted steed? Just kinda cool plus the savings from campgrounds or lodging and of course the new faces.

I have a way of finding things in areas that people have lived all their lives and never knew or have seen? I am great at planning trips just don't let me get side tracked (I "squirrel" a lot and get lost in the black hole of what's around the next hill). And just like to help so give me something to do.
