Overview
About Me
I'm ready to find better horizons, or rather forced to, since my country is in such shambles. I consider myself pretty easy-going, I like to help a lot and I'm quick to laugh and make laugh. I may err on the naïve side, but I always try to have everyone's best interests in mind. Very family-oriented, love animals, like children, want my own (both).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest, I can't find a place to stay in my recent decision to depart, and I don't have money to afford even the cheapest place. I recently met whom I believe is the woman of my life, and she lives in New York City. While I manage to get my own place or manage to rent, I need options. But don't get me wrong, I love meeting other people, and the experience of actual copuch-surfing --yes, even at my "old" age-- sounds a bit appealing. I'm sorry if that's not what CS.com is for.
Interests
I've practiced origami for 25 years and counting. I read almost anything that comes by me (except those self-help books, but I don't judge if you read them. -- Ok I try not to.) I dabble in photography, and as every journalist I'm an apsiring writer. And all that has to come with a musical background.

Music, Movies, and Books
-I listen to almost everything, but I have a soft spot for Radiohead, Metallica, the Stones and almost anything on NPR Music.
-Star Wars geek all time, but I also love "The Shawshank redemption", anything Disney and Pixar (most animation, actually) and "The Seven Samurai".
-Stephen King can do no wrong. Also love Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
