About Me

Hey,

I am 24 year old Slovak recently successfully graduated from Human Resources enjoying her last chance for Work and Travel program in the US with temporary home in Nantucket, MA.

Traveling became my passion when coming overseas for the first time and ever since then it is hard to stop (not that I would want to :)) I love meeting new people, discovering new places and cultures. That is connected also with tasting local cuisine. Since food and cooking are more than close to my heart, I love preparing the new recipes to my besties after learning from locals . Except cooking, I like reading books holding cup of tea, watching movies with bunch of friends but as an active person I like to chill out also in an active way which means going for a morning run, walk in nature but wandering in a busy city as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the idea of CS is just great! It might seem that I am a quite new member, though after my studies abroad I was hosted by my friends when traveling.
I believe that CS, meeting and staying with locals, is the best option how to fully experience a city...not mentioning a possibility to share experience and stories :)

Music, Movies, and Books

House, Indie, Pop but a bit of hip hop and rock is never a bad idea either.
Artist that move my heart are Kygo, Sigma, The Kooks, MO...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going for the very first Work and Travel = first visit of the US which opened my door to traveling and became a trigger for travel obsession and getting abroad experience through studying exchange programs. That was one of my best decisions.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to teach you how to prepare Slovakian traditional "Halušky" (if you google that, just for a record, it tastes better than it looks like :D)

I am a curious person that would love to learn something new about your culture.

You know that Slovakians are known for their hospitality? Therefore, what is mine, is yours :)

Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, United States
