Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Growing up in India is a lot different compared to growing up in developed countries. I was in a perpetual rat race chasing marks and ranks during my high school days and undergrad days. As much as I hate it, gotta do that to make it to the top. Anyway, now I can afford to do what my heart feels and my mind tells me to do. I want to travel as much as I can. I'm starting out slow but will definitely take a year or so off to do it full time. And I don't have deep pockets so here I am looking for some shade and to meet like minded people :)

As I said, I love cooking. If I could find a way to cook my way through my travels that would be like a "dream come true" thingy.

As I'm living in Australia now I've been learing the aussie ways, haha. Camping, 4wding, fishing, bbqing, etc :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all kinds of music that doesn't make my ears bleed.

Coming to movies, I tend to like thrillers, dramas, comedies more.

For an academic to rare to not have a reading habit. My childhood wasn't encouraging for me to develop the habit of reading :/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping beside a beautiful limestone formation, literally not more than 10 feet away from ocean, under beautiful southern night sky without a tent, right near our camp fire to keep us warm on a chilly autumn night and last but not least, with two of my close friends.
