About Me

AI software engineer who hates going up the hills, but still keeps doing it. I consider myself friendly, curious and sometimes not so talkative. Really don't know what more should go there - I just try to behave the best I can and be as kind as possible. When it is needed, I try to be rational, I hate argues (so I just don't) and I never lie.

Most of my references are on my girlfriend's profile (we usually host and travel together): https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000227638

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just try to get the best from the life, which sometimes includes travelling and meeting new people. This is the perfect site for meeting them and discovering new countries - either as a host and as a guest. Both is enriching and can potentially lead to new friendships, which is always good :-)

Interests

I always want to try and learn new things - all the time. Still not sure whether it is a gift or a curse. Because there is not so much time for all of this :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Yann Tiersen, Birdy, Hans Zimmer, Muse, Michael Nyman, some jazz

Movies:
Dancer, Hardcore Henry, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain and everything from Christopher Nolan. Mostly movie with strong story and audio-visual experience. I like cinematography theory and try to watch little details in movies.

Also I like some TV shows, as I consider them just a long movie - from famous ones like Game of Thrones, Suits, Sherlock Holmes, Stargate, Westworld and 13 Reasons Why to lesser known like Black Books, Black Mirror, The Expanse, Red Dwarf and Okkupert

Books:
Anything from John Wyndham or Isaac Asimov - especially The Foundation series. Generally science fiction.
I prefer non-fiction books from the fiction ones. Usually I read something about physics, rationality (Kahneman or Ariely) or artificial intelligence.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Steering a historical sailing ship with 30 people on board, during the midnight storm in the middle of the North Sea.

Teach, Learn, Share

My main interest is in computer science and artificial intelligence especially. Therefore I can try to teach you some basic programming stuff and/or I can share information about artificial intelligence and its possible future usage.

If I do not accept guests in a moment or I cannot host you, at least you can take a look at this handy Prague Guide series - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibLN0WBSlkU&list=PLM9_KZNJw8qGuEHJf4lcfIiGwpiRtcKAm

There are a lot of valuable tips when visiting Prague :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I do not fly with some low-cost airline only with cabbin luggage, I try to bring some good Czech food/drink.

What I always have with me are stories, good mood and gratitude. These three are usually enough for a pleasant experience for me and the host :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic
