Hey! I'm Sara and I'm a fairly young traveller from Germany.
I always have trouble describing myself - so I'll leave it up to you to decide what you think of me.

I love classical literature, art and theatre; but most of all travel. Up until now, I've had trouble traveling as much as I wanted to as I was held back by school. Now that I graduated, I can finally travel the way I've always wanted - within my budget, of course, but wherever it calls me. I hope to make tons of new friends here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people first and foremost. Most of my friends are not very much into traveling, so they don't usually understand my drive to get away - I'd love to talk to someone that really understands!
Also, me not having a job at the moment (except for a few art commissions here and there) limits the way I travel quite a lot.
Honestly though, I mostly just want to learn more about the places I travel to, and I've learned quite quickly that people can teach you that much better than travel guides!

Interests

Art, literature, theatre and history. Combinations of all those things as well. Yoga, cooking and thinking about the universe.

Music, Movies, and Books

As for music, almost anything folk, indie or americana. Some of my faves are Mumford & Sons, Young the Giant, Barcelona, Lord Huron. Also love Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

Movies are hard, I only recently watched The Wolf of Wall Street so I'd say that? Basically anything Tarantino as well. Cheesy rom coms. You know, the usual.

My all time favorite books are The Great Gatsby and The Secret History. Also lots of poetry collections, most notably Leaves of Grass and of course anything Ginsberg (:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ridden into the sunset at the beach yeah in Denmark - probably won't ever forget that.
Kayaked 20 miles on the Delaware river with my best friend, almost drowned and lost my socks.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can't really teach you much I think - some vegan recipes maybe? Maybe drawing cartoon animals if that interests you haha
