Hi there! I am a 24 year old Dutchie. After travelling for 16 months, I am currently trying to adjust to the normal Dutch life again.

I love food, am sporty (mostly into beach/volleyball) and like all of you much into travelling and meeting new people.
I finished my Bachelor in Food technology and I write my own food/travel blog for fun. I post some of my favourite recipies and write about my travels and about all the food that I dicover while travelling. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By joining the couchsurf comunnity I hope to get in contact with other travellers and meet great people and hear their travel stories. Maybe we could travel together a bit. I also hope to meet locals who can show me around their hometown and maybe offer their couch to me to crash on. Also I like to share a ride if you have some spare room in your car.

Interests

As I wrote, I love to write on my personal blog. Besides I love to play volleyball and beachvolleyball during summer. Furthermore, I'm very into photography and I do appriciate some art every now and then.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite movie is definitely The Notebook, but I also like many other types of movie genres. Everything besides horror basically.

I actually don't like reading that much, so I haven't got a favourite book really.

Music-wise, I mostely like singer-songwriter music. Love to listen to Gavin Degraw and Ron Pope. I could list many more other stuff I like: The Script, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, (Kensington, Racoon (both Dutch). Also some golden oldies I really appriciate and even like some reggae every now and then. Furthermore I just like to listen to the current hits and dance tracks on the radio.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

16 months of travel experience gave me plenty of amazing, scary and unforgetteble experience.
From being in trouble in the outback of Australia, to swimming with Manta Rays and climbing beautiful mountains and all the amazing people I met along the way.

But my Interrail through Europe in 2015 was great too.
