I'm an engineering student from the cold and distant Scandinavia. I spent my spring 2016 at student exchange in South Korea, and now spending the well-earned holiday in nearby Asian countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people. I'm genuinely interested in learning about the cultures of Asian countries, and talking about cultural differences is cool! In the student exchange I spent too much time with Europeans only :D

Interests

I've noticed that I enjoy most food here in Asia, and I'm really open-minded to try new kind of gastronomic experiences too! Music is also an important part of my life, and I sang in an university choir back Finland. I'm ready for karaoke any time, I did that a lot in Korea with my friends :P

I don't know which music genres are my favourite.. mostly I listen to something like fusion jazz, progressive rock, electronic stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Nepal for half a year when I was 6 years old because my mother had a longer work trip there. I started my school there one year earlier in Finland, although doing it in English without prior experience was a challenge. I was super shy but I think that I still enjoyed the time there :)
