About Me

I grew up in New Zealand and it has always been a lifelong dream to move to the UK and travel Europe! I am currently living in London and have visited Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Wales and England since I have been here and have loved exploring every place I have been as it is a stark contrast to NZ.

I am interested in meeting locals in the countries that I visit to get a taste of the culture and to hopefully get to make new friends from around the world!

I studied Earth Science at university so I love seeing places with geology (like Cliffs of Moher, Ireland for example).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am using couchsurfing to meet people from all over and to have more of a genuine experience compared with staying in a hostel.

Interests

I am a musician who sings and plays guitar so I enjoy going to open mics to perform and meet other musicians. I also love going to concerts (been to see Ed Sheeran x3, Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, John Mayer, Capital FM Summertime Ball; Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Anne Marie, Clean Bandit, Rag n Bone Man, James Arthur, Julia Michaels, Niall Horan e.t.c., Shephard, Lorde, Paramore). I have a few already booked for 2018 which I am looking forward to including Vance Joy, Misterwives and Katy Perry. I have seen more concerts compared with visiting different countries since I have been living in the UK so it is time to start prioritising travelling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to meet my family in Ireland who have been in contact for almost 30 years with my New Zealand family (writing letters). It was amazing to hear the stories about them meeting my nana and two aunties and to see where my great grandad lived for the first 5 years of his life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can play guitar and we can all have a jam/sing-a-long or I can teach you a few chords!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Denmark, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Sweden, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
