About Me

I'm finishing university in Hungary, where i've lived my whole life (except for a 4 month-period when i studied in Swansea, UK), so now i'd like to explore and travel and meet new people!

I'm fairly easy-going (trying to be, anyway :)), people say i'm a kind person who can have fun, i'm not the most talkative guy you've ever met, but i love having good conversations with interesting people.

My biggest hobby is hiking, not the rock-climbing stuff, though, i think i've hiked most of Hungary's mountain paths, i usually do this with friends, but i don't mind going alone, either.
I also love playing the guitar, which i'm not very good at, but it is fun :D
I watch many football matches, favourite team is Chelsea FC, saw them live once, it was amazing. I also like playing it very much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because whenever i go to a new place, i'd much rather meet local people than stay in a hotel/hostel with foreigners.

Interests

On the top of the list is hiking and football, but i play video games, too (favourites: Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, LOTR, FIFA, F1). I like cooking, but i can't make too many kinds of food yet :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I learned English by watching (mostly) American TV shows like House M.D, Prison Break, Friends, Breaking Bad, and some others and i still love them.

I listen to music basically whenever i have a chance :D my favourite genre is classic rock, but i listen to anything, if i'm in that mood. So i'm a huge Pink Floyd fan, also like Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Green Day was my favourite band when i was a teenager.

I'm not the biggest movie geek, but i've seen a good amount of them, probably the best ones i saw for me are the Tarantino movies (especially The Hateful Eight). I rewatch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty every other month or so, simply because i love the scenery in the movie :D

I like to read very much, the whole thing started with the Harry Potter series of course, but since then i've read books from many authors, my current favourite is Stephen King (i'm reading The Stand now).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flew across the world on a paper plane with nothing but a bottle of water and sun cream! (not really)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm good with computers, so maybe i can help with that, if you need. Also i'd be happy to teach Hungarian, if you're interested! :D
