I am a 24-year-old globetrotter and my name is Eloïse, even though many of my friends call me Elo. I am a smily and curious girl, thirsty for life and adventure!

I have a lot of travel experience, mostly in Western Europe and Latin America. I went to the Panama Canal, Iguazu Falls, Piedra del Peñol, and bags of other amazing places! It is quite hard to speak about the most exciting places I have been. Just walking along the streets of a town I have never been before can be overwhelming!

I waited too much to sign up on Couchsurfing! I have met incredible people through the website and discover the places I have been in a different way. Couchsurfers are generally open-minded people so it is easier to share new (or not!) ideas and talk about any subject we are interested for. I got to know two of my cariocas best friends on Couchsurfing, for example.

Interests

I am definitely in love with linguistics! Since I started to learn languages at school, I worked hard to reach a good level of English, Spanish and Portuguese and I have made the most of my skills all around the world. But it is more than a passion for me: I consider languages as an essential tool of communication and pacification. Dialogue is key to understand the necessities and expectations of "the others" (and vice versa), their feelings and sensitivity.
