About Me

Love to meet new people and naturally travelling. I always enjoy a good meal, a good wine and a good company.

I love watching sports and want to make most out all of my travels. Currently learning German and about to spend a year overseas. I'm specially a big soccer fan, and won't mind to beat anyone at FIFA videogame when the chance presents.

I have the idea that life must not be taken so seriously and that people should enjoy and experience while they can. I love to laugh and make people laugh as I think this is the most simple yet perfect pleasure life gives us.

I love to cook and naturally to eat, I think food is an excellent way to connect with different cultures and when people offer you a typical dish or simply a dish cooked by them, they are offering you a peace of themselves.

I'm a big fan of enjoying little things in life such as lazy days, a cup of tea while its raining or some small talk, but I'm not afraid to go big while travelling and I plan to visit as much of the world as life lets me.

I'm not a big party man, but can always enjoy some beers and a night out in the city. I love hanging out in movie theaters, cafés, parks and anywhere you can think of.

I'm anxious to star my own adventure around the world, and to make new friends all around it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm think that the concept of Couchsurfing represents what the world is lacking right now: people willing to open their houses and their hearts with each other.

It is conforting to find out that there are still people who are willing to be kind and nice to one another and I want to be a part of that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big The Killers, Coldplay, Muse, Maná fan, love music in general. I hardly say no to music in general, and I'm willing to discover more and more music genres and bands to add into my playlists.

I love comedy and action movies. For me movies are not about awards and formality, but about the moments they represent, the laughs, tears or sighs they take out from you.

I'm no big reader I must confess but will always enjoy a bit of historic novels or historic literature as I find history quite fascinating, even though it is not depicted as a lesson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All of my life until just a few years ago, I belonged to a kind of Boy Scout organization here in Mexico.

In this organization we learn a lot about nature, survival, technical abilities, first aid, etc. I have lived some ameazing moments while on activities organized by us.

I used to go, twice per year, on a full week camping trip, only our tents, food and some logs to build our "homes" for the whole week. We should live in groups of about 15-20 persons and become a team to compete in several activities to gain points and receive prizes at the end of the camping week.

Almost 9 years of my life were spent of this groups and I could scale through all the possible ranks within the organization, having from 15 to 200 other youngs at my charge. I was a challenge, it was extra from school but it was totally worth it.

Some of the craziest challenges were a walking trip between the mountains in two cities (72km) and the cosntruction of an elevated camping place (6m over the ground).

I've made some of my best buds in this groups and have learned things most of other people could not imagine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I currently I'm a 7th semestre student in ITESM, a private university here in Mexico. Life has given me the opportunity to let me do what I love and thanks God I have always taken advantage of this priviledge.

My career in Biomedical engineering is for me very important, as I want to grow up and make a difference in the very deficient public health system in my country. I was motivated to choose this career because I want to help people and I want things done the right way,

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything I am.

I am an easygoing person and generally don't have any taboos, so ask away! I have many stories from my youth and I am willing to hear all the stories you have to share as well.

I am an organized person, clean and responsible, so don't worry I might make some mess but I promise it will be cleaned.

I consider myself a very eagar person to learn and to get to know, because I know I am far from perfect but always willing to grow as a person.

I am willing to cook and let you be the judge of my dishes, but you'll have to introduce me to your typical ingredients first!
