About Me

Hi! I'm 25 years old and i'm finishing my college dregee in Law.

I am a person who likes to talk but also to listen, to discover what people want/can share with me and what they have lived and experienced. I have an active personality and i'm in a process of slowing down my life rhythm.

I study Law back in Brazil, but I find it boring so here in Lyon I'm trying Sociology, Political Science, Geopolitcs and this kind of things... i'm also taking my time to watch some more movies, go to more cultural experiences, try to discover something about the "artistic me", doing readings I had postponed and trying new stuff in life.

I enjoy meeting new people and I love travelling (as almost everyone in Couchsurfing?) but as I'm in a long exchange period, it's the first time I need to travel alone and it's a exciting challenge.

I'm talkative even if I may be shy and the beginning - for me, conversations are the better way to learn and to grown if life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just had my two first experiences in couchsurfing it was soo great!!
Even better than I could imagine: I've met open people, they cooked for me, they shared their thoughts and their live stories. It was so nice that getting local tips about the town was just a plus - it was really a life experience of real connection. I've made new friends that I plan to keep in touch to get together again.

I hope it's not just me the lucky one, I hope that's really how couchsurfing works!

So I'm here to meet nice people, make new friends, but also to be able to travel without spending a lot (afterwards I'm still a student) and to feel the cities in a way closer to how locals feel them.

Interests

I do enjoy cooking, even though I can't make anything out of ordinary - but maybe if we have time and we can find ingredients I would love to cook a vegetarian brazilian meal for you!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into brazilian music like Cartola, Elis Regina and Belchior, Vinicius but also Marisa Monte, Nação Zumbi, Karina Buhr, Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa, Mariana Aydar, Baiana System, Karol Conka, Academia da Berlinda...

I also like foreign music, and I'm really curious to meet new groups and singers if people want to share it with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surviving european winter - does it count??

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not really an expert in anything so I can't "teach" anything but some portuguese words, maybe?! hahaha I love chatting and discovering people's stories and adventures.
I do enjoy sharing brazilian music/literature and cooking with other people, as I already said... I also like to go to outdoor activities (happily winter is finishing!!) and at night i like going out for a beer, a glass of wine, even for dancing - I'm really eclectic so it depends on my energy each day.
