Hi everyone!

My name is Desirée and I have a very multicultural background: my mother is half Swedish and half Finnish, my father is half Italian and half German.

I currently live in Utrecht (NL) and work for the Aquaculture Stewardship Council, a non-governmental organisation that manages a certification programme in the field of aquaculture.

I studied International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs at the University of Bologna and then Global Environmental Governance at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I am passionate of IR, biodiversity conservation and climate policies, thus I'm happy to be working in the field :)

I love reading, spending time with friends, biking around The Netherlands, I started learning to play the guitar and dancing Lindy Hop. I'm always eager to try new experiences and discover new hobbies!
