Hi, my name is Miranda, I'm 21 years old, and I live in Barcelona, a beautiful city, so I encourage everyone to come to visit it at least once!

I describe myself as an outgoing person and very open-minded. That may be the result of having had the luck to travel because I believe that when we get to know new places, meet new people and different ways of living and thinking that's when we grow up more as a person.

My daily life is basically going to university (where I'm studying for a graphic design degree) and then in the afternoons I usually have a coffee with my friends and then I can do different things, such as go to the gym or giving private lessons to kids to earn some money.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, I encourage everybody to come and visit Barcelona! HOWEVER, please do me favour and ask to the local people for places which represent the real essence of the city. Don't get limited to the most touristic recommendations.

I'm telling you this because that's why I'm on Couchsurfing. It makes no sense to visit a place without getting to know the local people, the food, their tradition, their language, their way of thinking... I’m looking for people who can teach me all those things!
