About Me
Hey!
Four years ago, I finished my bachelor in social work in my hometown of Gatineau. I then traveled more or less for two years through Helpx. After having moved a lot during those years, I came back to Canada looking for a bit of stability and decided to give Montréal a chance. I had never lived there before and it really is a wonderful city!
As of September, however, I will be living in the capital of Mexico, working as a teacher's assistant. I'm looking forward to discovering another world and meeting new people!
Hola!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to be around people and I am a very curious person. I love to meet people who come from all sorts of backgrounds. The notion of exchange is very valuable to me, may it be ideas, recipes or languages.
Interests
I love music and even more so, I love dancing!
Food! I love food! It's a pleasure I love to share and I am always looking to be creative and explorative in this field.
Music, Movies, and Books
Because I love so many various styles, it would be hard for me to pinpoint something in particular so I'll just name what I've been listening to for the last week: Devendra Banhart, Mac DeMarco and Men I Trust.
I've also been into cumbia lately!
I've been reading plenty lately and I would definitely put Hermann Hesse as my top author of the moment. Camus and Ionesco aren't too far behind as absurdity just gets me in a way I can't explain.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak french and english fluently and I really am looking forward to improving my spanish in México.
Quiero mejorar mi español! Si alguien quiere mejorar su francés o inglés, me encantaría hacer intercambios lingüísticos contigo!
