Overview
About Me
Provide some fun facts about me first:
- My English name, Scully, is derived from an American Serie X-File
- I can’t use chopsticks properly, so some of my European friends would make fun of me and steal the food under my chopsticks 😂
- I never traveled abroad until I was 20 years old
My current mission is to live a life without regret. After going on a one-month trip in Europe, I fell in love with traveling alone. Therefore, I would travel as much as I can before I’m too old to do so. Please tell me if you have any suggestion about my next travel destination😉
I’m talkative, outgoing and easygoing. My German flatmates once said that I’m the noisiest Asian they’ve ever seen 😂 I kind of love this title since it makes me unique in some ways.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love this idea so much and really wanna know the culture deeper through interacting with local people. I believe we can explore the world in a better wya while exchanging our experiences with others. Besides, I can meet a lot of good people and become friends with others. It's good to have more connections with the world:)
Interests
My hobbies are diverse.
I’m kinda sportlich. I play volleyball ( in charge of ball setting), hike ( just climbed up the second highest peak in Taiwan on August 2017) and jog. I enjoy exercising since it is always good to see how much I have improved mentally and physically during workout.
I love cooking since I’m an amateur gourmet. I said I’m amateur because I’m not picky at all! Everything are cuisine for me 😆 (No wonder I look chubby)
BUT if I really have to choose. I would never ever stop SINGING and TRAVELING! These two things are the pieces that make my life perfect 👌
- singing
- cooking
- volleyball
Music, Movies, and Books
Basically I listen to all kinds of music! I have followed some YouTubers for a long time since they really produce awesome cover video!
Have seen a tons of dramas these years, and my favorite 3 are Game of Thrones, Strangers Thing and Sherlock Holmes! (Quite general ones)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a volunteer in a NGO in Taiwan few years ago. The organization is called Teach For Taiwan. Our mission is to eliminate the inequality situation of education in our country. This was one of the most meaningful thing I’ve done and I can’t wait to see those tiny changes integrate into strong power that can influence the whole society in the future ☺️
Oh! And another great thing I’ve done is to travel all alone in Europe for 1 month when I stepped onto this continent for the first time!
Teach, Learn, Share
I really love the what Mother Teresa once said “May God break my heart so completely that the whole world falls in.”
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can talk about travel since I have visited several countries in the past one year.
We can talk about culture since I have lived in Germany for a while and spent most of my time in Taiwan.
