Hello! For starters just let me say that I love food. So if you love food too, we will get along pretty well.... not enough? Okay, okay. I am Ericka, I am Honduran but study in Taipei, city where I've been living already for about three years. (但是我的中文還需要多練習) I LOVE painting, even more than I love eating so you can imagine how much I love art. I always carry around a book with me and can make anywhere a cozy spot to read. I love talking and asking questions, so probably the beginning of our conversation will be similar to a CIA interview.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Normally I travel around by myself to visit friends, so sometimes I get crazy layovers in which I like to do things rather than dying in the airport and watching three movies while sitting down in the floor next to the charger (Yeah, did this in Houston... not nice) therefore I would like to meet locals and hang out with them even if so just for a little while.

Music, Movies, and Books

Such wide questions. Let's see.
Music: I can do almost anything. My favorite band is Coldplay, and normally I tend to hear alternative, indie, relax, type of chill music... but I also like dancing and running so I need music with good vibes and great energy. My brother influenced me all my childhood and that ended up in me also listening to metal, power metal, rock in general. Oh... and if you play anything from the 70s, 80s, 90s I will probably sing along.

Movies: I have a soft spot for The Bucket List and The Intouchables. I am a huge Pixar and Disney fan, no shame. Love mystery, and I am a bit masochist so I also like horror movies. And yes, of course I like Marvel movies.

Books: Okay, this one I need to be totally honest: I read anything I can get my hands on. I just love reading. For the moment I am trying to read more classics and Latinamerican literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh...
I think it is more important what amazing things I want to do.
I want to hug a penguin, for example.
No, I am not kidding.

But okay, I tried to cycle around all Taiwan island once. Got to the most southern point but when I was going on my way up the East coast I had an accident and literally flew away from my bike. But that is a story I will tell you in person.
