Hey I'm Patrik. Boring facts first: studying computer science, working at a startup.

The exciting stuff I do includes a lot of mountain sports (as Munich is conveniently close to some) like hiking, skiing and mountain biking. I recently discovered long distance biking for me when I cycled to Venice and UK. I just really like to be outside. Oh and I also enjoy crafting stuff, e.g. I build a bed and other furniture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got to know Couchsurfing through a TV serial called "Auf 3 Sofas durch..." ("On 3 Couches through...") where one guy travels to cities, couchsurfs there and shoots a documentary about his experiences and I wanted to try this too.
I the most important thing for me is the openness of this platform.

I like to go to the Alps (quite near, just ~1h by car or 2h by train) and do a lot of outdoor activities there.

I like nearly all kinds of music. One of my favorite movies is Fightclub.
Most books I read are fantasy or dystopic.

Cycling on my own from Munich through Paris to Oxford while not knowing any French.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Doing activities or visiting Erding (small but nice) and Munich (not so small but nice too). I like to go to parties in Munich too.
