I'm studying for my bachelor in Sustainable Development and Sociology at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. I love all things sustainability, and am interested in how intentional communities function on a day-to-day basis. I live in a student housing cooperative, where I've learned a lot about consensus decision making and the complicated thing that agreeing can be ! Music is very important to me, and I love to sing, play the ukulele and sitar, and have an impromptu jam if people are up for it :))

I've had lots of couch-surfers in my flat (via my flatmate) and it's been really wonderful to meet so many interesting people! Some became good friends.
My favorite thing about travelling is always to see a country from the 'inside', so to say. I've travelled a fair bit, but my best memories are of shared dinners and conversations with locals who let me glimpse into the daily life of a place unknown. I hope to meet more people who would like to share their stories and food with me.

I did my high school in India, where I lived with 200 people on a hill in a rural boarding school for 2 years - the most wonderful experience !
