About Me

Since I went to New Zealand as an international student in 2011 I knew I wanted to travel the world. I've been doing so while living in different countries on Working Holiday visas and getting to know the people in a more "local" way. And I love it.

I like learning and talking about traveling, languages, cultures, food and photography, though I'm quite amateur when it comes to the last one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love nothing more than to travel and meet amazing people on the way, learn about other cultures and sharing with others.

Sadly, I'm not accepting any guests at the moment because I don't have a place. But hopefully, soon I will be able to return the favor and host other travelers.

Interests

I speak 3 languages but I'm always learning a new one. I'm currently trying to learn German and Japanese.
I studied Culinary Arts Management so everything about food is just awesome. New recipes, old recipes, going out to eat, etc... I'm a foodie for sure.
Walking around the cities is the best way to know any place. I just love to spend one day on every trip just doing so, by myself, with my music and see what I find.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read and listen to music but I actually use them to relax so you might not find anything intellectual here.

Though I love Spanish poetry, Latin American authors and more (such as Benedetti, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Neruda), my favorite books are "Is not love, it's just Paris" (Patricia Engel) and "Happy people read and drink coffee" (Agnes Martin-Lugand).

To be honest, any book about living abroad is good for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungy jumping in New Zealand, volunteering in Paraguay, backpacking in Bolivia, just walking around Prague by night with this typical pastry while it was snowing in the city, and so many other stories I'll be more than happy to share with anyone I meet.

Oh, let's add that one time where I rented a van and camped around Tasmania. And the time I had a 17 hours layover in Hong Kong in the middle of the protests and I decided to go to the city center anyways.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing stories. I feel some people have done amazing things and they don't even know they have, so I love to listen to other's stories too. I would talk about pretty much anything haha.

I can teach you Spanish, or English. I don't think I am fluent enough to teach French, but I could help you practice if you want.

And if you would like to teach me anything, I would be happy to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share travel stories. I am an expert when it comes to making a fool of myself while being abroad.

We can cook together, go for a drink or just walk around the city.
