I come from India. I completed my Doctorate in Biology and continuing my Post Doctoral research in France. I wish to travel and meet new people and understand their culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I am new to Lyon, I was not knowing friends and places around. My first Couchsurfing helped me to meet a lot of new friends from Japan, Italy, Spain, Russian. I enjoyed my first trip to Mirbel in Lyon and played Volley ball and had a great time. Couchsurfing is giving an avenue for me to meet and cherish new friends and explore a different perception towards life

Interests

Music. I come from Southern India - heart land for Carnatic music to Folk music. From Ilayaraja to A R Rahman. So music is very much part of our life. I have taken training in Carnatic music for 4 - 5 years and continue to learn. I play a carnatic music string instrument called Veena.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In terms of Travelling, my first trip to Paris. Managed everything alone with a travel guide and city map. Enjoyed my trip thoroughly. Now I wish to explore Europe
