My name is Lázaro Andrés. I am cuban and work at the University of Havana. In the University I am a young professor and researcher in the field of Quantum Biochemistry and theorical computational chemistry. I am 30 years old. Although I almost dedicate my life to the science, I also like to do a lot of things in my free time. I like so much the music. I play the guitar and compose my own music. I like so much dace salsa and other type of dances, I have teached to dance salsa to a lot of foreign and cuban people. I really enjoy it . Here in Cuba we are fans to the salsa music. I also practice some sports when I have free time, as for example Basketball and volleyball. I also like so much to cook. I am really organized and I like so much to learn about the experience of people of different cultures. It is important to see the world in different ways, not ony from our home land. I share all that I have. And always try to be happy and see the positive face of the the things.

I have a friend how talk me about CS. I have to confess that I am not really a fan of Facebook and another chats, but I think that CS have something different. Thats why I am here. Recently I am going to begin to work in a research project with a professor of Mount Saint Vincent University and I am going to travel for a short research stay of four months to Halifax. So I am looking for people nice that accept me as guest and who also show me the city, the real people and culture of Halifax. This is my first trip and I really want to make it memorable. So I want to make friends not only cubans. Dont worry, I can cook and you will like it. I can ensure that.

Interests

I love the science. I research in the field of Computational and Theorical Chemistry modeling in chemical substances that can prevent Alzheimer and Parkirson desease. This is a passion for me. I usually like to think that I am doing something important and useful for the health of the mankind. I like so much the sea. One of my dreams is to practice diving some day. I also like the music and dance.

I love all kind of music, the rock and alternative music: coldplay (they are the best), The Beatles, Staind, Nickelback, Adelle and the cuban music: Habana Abierta, Haydee Milanés, Van Van, Habana de Primera.

I really love the cinema and the movies I am doing a collection of most famous movies awarded with oscars of all the times (the clasicals) and really love the cuban movies
