Hello! I'm a 21-year-old girl travelling trough Australia lately. I'm from the Netherlands and just finished my bachelors of Dutch in Nijmegen. At the end of the summer I will start the English master Linguistics. People often say I'm very spontanious, patient, open-minded, creative and that I have a sober view on things. I prefer to be with people than being on my own and make easily friends.

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people. Furthermore I love the concept of finding out how people live in different countries and places and hear their stories.

兴趣

I'm a very active person and I have a lot of interests. I like to sing while I'm playing the guitar or the piano and I play piratesongs on the clarinet in a band. I joined a lot of choirs and theatre and musicals. Next to the music-part I love reading and writing to relax, learn and overlook my feelings and experiences. I played football for years and joined a swimming team but just going outside for a run without any attributes to clear my head and feel my body is what I like the most.

音乐、电影和书籍

I've gone threw a multiple phases of genres. In my teenage years I read historical novels and psychological stories. I listened to Alanis Morissette and The Cranberries. Now I read Dutch literature and books about buddhism and philosophers and so on. I still like the music I mentioned before, but now I'm also into Rock and Country. Catpower, Jose Gonsalez and Brandi Carlile are my favorites.

Every time I am on stage or running a competition I feel my heart beating very fast. I cannot mention one perticular moment, because they are all amazing for me.

Maybe I can teach you a bit of Dutch. We can make music together and I can cook a Dutch meal.

I myself want to learn from others how they go through life and what make them happy to get to know how to gain my own happiness one day or every moment.
