I first couchsurfed in July 2016, on a cross-country road trip. Now I 'm hooked. I have thoroughly enjoyed being both a guest and a host. You meet such delightful, fascinating people everywhere, from everywhere.

Hosting guests from far away is like traveling the world without having to leave home; guesting is like being at home no matter where you travel.

I like to play chess and Scrabble, but never find any offline opponents. I drive just for the heck of it. I am active in "progressive" political groups. In January 2017 I was elected as a local "Assembly District Delegate" in the Democratic Party.
