About Me

I was working as an environmental lawyer in Chile, when i decided to quit my job, sell everything and start travelling in Asia. I started backpacking on january of 2016, and since i have been in Southeast asia, East Asia and South East Africa, while working online in an ngo based in chile that i formed with a group of friends, that have a focus in informing people about the negative impacts of the things we eat, use, wear or buy.
I am a relax, open minded guy who tries to understand and respect every way of living.
I am also vegan and an environmentalist, as a way to have a positive impact in this planet.
I love nature, animals and life :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because i think is a great way to learn more about the place that you are visting, and getting different perspectives about the culture.

Interests

Yoga, meditation, environment, veganism, nature, hiking, cycling, travelling, diving, arts, drawing, painting, live music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly indie music, like arcade fire, interpol, devendra banhart, sufjan stevens, etc.
My favourite autor is Paul Auster. I also like some books from murakami, sabato, saramago, coetzee, palanhiuk, among others.
I like simple but beautiful movies, like the ones from wes anderson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I thing one of the best experiences of the trip was to travel through vietnam in a motorbike. It gave me the chance to explore parts of vietnam with no other tourists, the freedom to go wherever i wanted without following a scheduale, and most of all, the chance to get to know the culture of this beautiful country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach spanish, vegan cooking and do some yoga class.
Currently i am learning the ukelele, but i also would love to learn different artistic techniques, or sustainables ways of living and making our world better. Some basic words in the local lenguage come in handy too. Either way, just to share time with locals or expats is a great learning experience of the culture of the place that i am visiting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my different experiences during my travels, and also a little bit of my south american cultural background.
