Hello there! Welcome to my profile.

I'm a computer engineering student, comic book fan, volunteer, photographerish :P (vsco.co/umutku) just taking some non-pro photos, good eater, not a good cooker but a good dish washer :) , emotional, social, easy going, openminded, mortal, hitchhiker, camper and traveler man. I always like to be traveler instead of being tourist.

My first host experience was in US, Dallas. I stayed two months with a lovely host Diane. Diane and her dog Jojo were really good friends to me. It was the first abroad experience for me and at that time, I learnt how great to discover other cultures. After this I took every chance to go abroad and meet new good people and discover their culture and personality.

Than I had chance to go Romania for an EVS (European Volunteer Service) project, for two months. My project was about environment and me and my other volunteer friends from all around world had some little workshops, presentations with students. During that project beside new great people, I've also met with hitchhiking. Actually I was doing hitchhiking in my hometown but for just short distances. But in that period, I traveled 7 countries in Balkans by hitchhiking and thanks to that I saw how good the people are. The drivers, the couches, they were all amazing.

When you taste that traveling, you never stop. Then, I did my Erasmus Study in Poland, Bydgoszcz for 1 term and while studying, I wanted also to use that time travel as much as I can.

Now I'm back home and still try to catch chances to travel. :)

I hope I also will meet with you and have great time together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet with new people that's why I prefer to use Couchsurfing and hitchhiking.

Interests

Camping in nature recharge me. Sometimes I really need to touch to earth and feel fresh air. Especially with friends camping can be much more fun!

I can share my memories that is most important thing. I'm not a good cooker but I can cook something to survive. I can help them about that but I'm better at cleaning :P
