Mission

The mission is to travel the world , discover new places, meet new and interesting people, have fun, enjoy life and in the process try to discover yourself as well.

My name is Unique jain, and yes it is my real name ( for those who are wondering if it is real or not). I am very curious person and like to learn about different cultures, different languages. I also like running, cycling, football, painting, yoga, wandering in mountains and of course travelling and meeting new people. I believe in equality and consider everyone equal no matter what their cast, religion, gender, nationality is.

Philosophy

I believe that with our actions we can take our lives in any direction we want, we can achieve anything we want and it is not our fate or luck that decides our future but our choices and actions.

Currently I am not hosting. I also have not couch surfed yet and would like to remove this last statement from my profile soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet new people, make friends, share experiences and I think most importantly ( at least for me) to travel the world even with the little money that I have in my pocket.

Music, Movies, and Books

In music nothing in particular but I like listening to music by Ricky Martin, Enrique, Shakira, and of course our Bollywood songs.

The storms : Adventure and tragedy on Everest by Mike Trueman, this was a good book that I read and would recommend to those who likes mountaineering.

There are lots of movies that I like so here i am just going to name few of them. Gladiator, 127 hours, Inception, Taare Zamin Par, Premium Rush, Casablanca......

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As I mentioned that I like cycling, I often go on long distance cycling trips of around 70-80 KM in total from my home to nearby places and back. Starting as early as 4:30 in the morning and coming back around 7-8 at night. Traveling on cycling is a completely different experience and I find it really amazing. And would for sure at some point in my life travel the whole world on my bicycle.
