My name is Kata, which is Kate in English. I'm 23 years old, Hungarian from heart, and I'm from a village where cows cause trafficjam. :D But I can enjoy the big city life as well, everything has its beauty. I love travelling and one of my lifegoals is to visit all the continents. My passion is to help others and motivate them. That's why I want to be a teacher. Not a usual one but one who has an impact on her students.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet people from different cultures so I can become more accepting, understanding and extroverted. I'm a bit shy so I want to work on it. And I think it's always better to see a country or a city through the eyes of a local. They will definitely have stories that you can't get from the tourist information box. :D

Favorite music: I listen to everything from pop to rap, but my favourite is rock music. (Favorite Hungarian band : Kowalsky meg a vega; favorite foreign band : Rise Against)

Favorite movies: depends on the mood. Movies that had a big impact on me: Life is beautiful, The pianist, I Origins, Truman show.

Favorite book: Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach playing the piano (a bit :D - pieces that a 3 year old can play but at least you will feel successful) and I'm happy to have conversations about linguistics or medieval English literature and boring stuff like these. :D

What I Can Share with Hosts
